Digital Desk: In a distressing incident, a young man from the Muslim community allegedly attacked a local resident of Boraligaon, Samaguri.


A young man, identified as Saddam Hussain from Konuwamari, has been accused of assaulting a person named Tilak Das in front of his house in Boraligaon.


The incident took place when Saddam Hussain reportedly used obscene language toward two women working at a nearby flower nursery.


Tilak Das attempted to intervene, and in response, Saddam physically assaulted him. The attack left Tilak Das seriously injured.


After the altercation, Saddam attempted to flee from the scene; however, some local residents chased and captured him before handing him over to the Samaguri police.


Tilak Das had filed an FIR against Saddam at the Samaguri police station regarding the incident. Currently, Saddam is in the custody of the Samaguri police.


The incident has sparked outrage among residents in Samaguri, with many voicing strong reactions to the incident.
