Digital Desk: The Kolkata Knight Riders sensational batter Rinku Singh remembered his hard times that how he struggled with limited opportunities and fears about the injury.


Moreover, the left-handed pitcher stated that the previous five years of his career were full of difficulties, but he has maintained his confidence throughout.


Earlier, in 2018, the batter was acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the mega auction, but the young player couldn’t live up to his expectations as he didn’t get a lot of opportunities to play for the franchise. 


Notably, due to a knee injury, Singh was ruled out of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021. Rinku further stated that when his Father heard about his injuries, he didn’t eat for 2-3 days. 


Sharing his experience, Rinku Singh, in a video uploaded on KKR’s official Facebook page, said, “Those 5 years were tough for me. After the first year, when I was picked for KKR and got a chance to play, I couldn’t perform well. Still, KKR trusted me a lot, and they retained me for the next couple of seasons.


Notably, Rinku Singh is the sole bread earner of his family.
