According to government reports, Ashok Koul almost escaped when a leopard invaded the grounds of his official house in Srinagar's Church Lane neighbourhood.

Digital Desk: Ashok Koul, the BJP's general secretary (Organisation), narrowly avoided being attacked by a leopard on Wednesday in Srinagar, J&K. According to government reports, Ashok Koul almost escaped when a leopard invaded the grounds of his official house in Srinagar's Church Lane neighbourhood. "He went out for a morning walk on the lawn when a leopard appeared out of nowhere on the lawn of his official dwelling in the Church Lane neighbourhood." Also Read: Meet India’s first Husband and Wife to each have Unicorns "Koul managed to give the leopard a slip while wildlife officials, who trapped the leopard, were brought in," according to official sources. Later, a team of Wildlife department officials reached the spot and caught the leopard after being informed about it.
