New Delhi: In a major breakthrough for the Meghalaya police, a Nigerian man and a Naga woman was arrested from Delhi for their alleged involvement in a cyber fraud case. The fraud duo was arrested from Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Sunday.

As per reports, the man and the woman were arrested in connection with a 2 lakh cyber-fraud case lodged at Williamnagar police station in East Garo Hills district.

The Nigerian man was identified as Felix.

A total of 12 mobile phones and 23 sim cards were recovered from their possession. The police suspect both of them being involved in various other illegal activities in other states and districts.

The two will be brought to Meghalaya for further legal proceedings at Williamnagar police station.
