Guwahati: Keeping in view the rapid increase in the number of active cases of Covid-19 across the state, the government has imposed night curfew in all the districts of Assam. The surge has increased to 10571 active cases on 27th April which has pushed the government to make this decision of night curfew.

Essentials and emergency activities/services would be active as an emergency measure for well being and safety of the people. There will be a total ban on the movement of individuals from 8pm to 5am daily, with immediate effect.

All the officers, officials, medical personnel’s and media persons would be allowed on production of valid identity card.

No restriction on Intra-state and Inter-state movement, transport of essential or non essentials goods. No separate permission or e-pass will be required for such movements.

No restriction for the people who are going for Covid-19 Vaccinations.

This order will remain in force till the May 1, 2021.
