Digital Desk: The first-ever Pilates studio in Northeast India was inaugurated in Guwahati on Sunday. The Pilates Studio named  ‘Reform’ by Namrata Purohit was launched in Guwahati's Ulubari area.

Northeast’s First Pilates Studio ‘Reform’ Launched in Guwahati

Samir Purohit and Namrata Purohit founded the Pilates Studio in January 2011. In a short period of time, the studio garnered popularity among people from all backgrounds, including sports stars and celebrities from the Indian film industry. The Pilates Studio and Reform family, which operates in 25 studios across the country, is excited to bring the magic of Pilates in Guwahati.

Namrata, the founder and partner of The Pilates Studio and Reform, stated, ''We are glad and thrilled to announce the successful opening of our first studio in the Northeast. We are ready to introduce Pilates to Guwahati along with my local partners Payal Gurdasani Dudheria and Mridul Saraogi Patni."

"We wanted to make Pilates easily accessible to people around the nation. Our Guwahati studio opening has brought us one step closer to that goal. We believe Guwahati is prepared for us and eager to experience the Pilates magic," Samir Purohit said.

The new studio, which is spread across 2000 square feet, is the first fully equipped Pilates studio. It was built with the goal of assisting clients in focusing on mind-body types of training using cutting-edge equipment like reformers, stability chairs, and arc barrels.

The physical activities will focus on Pilates and its principles, ensuring that one is physically and psychologically well-centered and connected.

Payal and Mridul, the franchise owners of Reform Guwahati, stressed how the studio has plenty of natural lighting to help you feel at ease and relaxed and how all activities are customized according to the needs of the clients.
