Digital Desk: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the dates for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2023 on Friday. The tests will be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023, according to the agency.
This year, the NTA held the first edition of the CUET for around 14,90,293 candidates. Candidates applied to 54,555 different course combinations at 90 different universities.
CUET-UG began in July and was hampered by technical difficulties, causing the NTA to cancel the exam at several locations. While many students were told about the cancellation the night before the exam, several were turned away from testing centres.

With 14.9 lakh registrations, CUET, the common gateway for undergraduate admissions in all central universities, has surpassed JEE-average Main's registration of 9 lakh.
With an average of 18 lakh registrations, NEET-UG is India's largest entrance examination. While NEET is administered in handwritten mode using pen and paper, While JEE-Mains is a computer-based test (CBT) given twice a year.
