According to reports, the youth has been identified as Hiren Bailung. Reportedly, the incident took place in the hotel “Green Land”. 

Digital Desk: Guwahati has been facing a significant rise in bike theft incidents in recent months, causing concerns among both residents and the police. These incidents have further sparked worries about vehicle security throughout the city. 

However, this time bike of a youth from Numaligarh who was staying in a hotel in the Ganeshguri area during his visit to Guwahati on Saturday has been reportedly stolen from the parking plot. The bike is said to be a Royal Enfield and it is registered with the number AS 03- AH-0894.

According to reports, the youth has been identified as Hiren Bailung. Reportedly, the incident took place in the hotel “Green Land”. 

It is to be noted that Bailung's motorcycle was stolen from the hotel premises at around 3 pm. The entire incident was caught on CCTV.

Meanwhile, the owner of the bike has lodged an FIR at the Dispur police station against the hotel authorities.

Further investigation into the matter is underway.
