Bengaluru: Ola launches its much-awaited electric model scooters and it promises better performance and also a higher range than its rivals Bajaj Auto, Ather Energy, and TVS motors.

It starts at the price of 99,999 and will be launched in two models namely S1 and S1 Pro and the price goes up to 1,29,999 for the top model.

Buyers will be allowed to purchase vehicles from 8 September and delivery will begin from October over 1000 cities and towns in India.

The vehicles will be manufactured in Ola’s plant in Krishnagiri in Tamil Nadu and it will have a production capacity of 1 million vehicles soon and Ola is confident of fulfilling orders of customers. Ola has already received more than one lakh pre-bookings on the first day of opening the booking.

Ola is also set to roll out home service for customers in every city it sells its scooter which will make it very convenient for its customers.
