Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, died of a heart attack on June 30, 2021. 


Digital Desk: Actress and host Mandira Bedi received backlash on social media after sharing a bikini photo with a male friend on Instagram.


In the shared picture, bikini-clad Mandira gives a tight hug to her male buddy while they relax in the pool, for which netizens have trolled her.


Sharing the pictures, Mandira wrote, “Happy Birthday Adi. This photograph says it all what you mean to me. How long we have known each other. What our equation is. And how much I trust you (to do this in #covidtimes) #sumsitup May more happiness, love and success find it’s way to you. Love you, my dearest friend from the age of 17!”



However, soon after sharing the photos, the netizens brutally trolled Mandira, forcing her to turn off her Instagram comments of that particular post. Notably, her inbox was flooded with nasty comments, which are now not visible. 


On June 30, 2021, Mandira Bedi’s filmmaker husband, Raj Kaushal, died of a fatal heart attack at 49. Following the tragic news of his death, some of his celebrity friends and followers took to social media to express their condolences to the family.


Raj produced several films, including Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi (1999), Shaadi Ka Laddoo (2004), and My Brother... Nikhil (2005). Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Shaadi Ka Laddoo, and Anthony Kaun Hai were the films he directed.


Raj Kaushal and Mandira Bedi got married on February 14, 1999. The couple has a son named Vir, born in 2011, and they adopted a 4-year-old girl named Tara Bedi Kaushal in October 2020.
