Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the laying of the foundation stone for a Buddhist cultural and historical centre in Lumbini

Digital Desk: The prime minister will attend the shilanyas ceremony of the Indian International Centre for Buddhist Culture and Heritage at the Lumbini Monastic Zone and tour the Holi Mayadevi temple. He'll also be present for the Buddha Purnima ceremonies. The Nepalese government will organise it. Lumbini lies in Nepal's Terrain area, in the country's southern half. Because Gautam Buddha was born in Lumbini, it is regarded as one of the holiest places.

Both prime ministers will meet in Lumbini to discuss ways to strengthen collaboration in various areas, including connectivity and hydropower. "I also anticipate meeting Prime Minister Deuba again after our good discussions during his visit to India last month," stated Minister Narendra Modi. "We will continue to build on our shared understanding in a variety of areas, including hydropower, development, and connectivity," he added. To preserve Nepal's Buddhist legacy, India invests Rs 1 billion in constructing a Buddhist Cultural Centre. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also stated that he does not approve of China's increasingly aggressive approach to the Indian border.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid a visit to Nepal shortly after Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi did so. Nepal has completed the clearance process. Nepal has made it clear that it will not accept Chinese financing. China is constantly attempting to expand its belt and road projects in Nepal. However, Xi Jinping's Nepal initiative is still a failure. Nepal fears that accepting loans from the ever-invading China will lead to a terrible economic and political disaster, similar to that which Sri Lanka is currently experiencing.
