PM Modi will pay tribute to the veteran music icon on Sunday evening. Earlier today, Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai announced the death of legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar Ji at 92 years of age. Lata Ji's last rites will take place at 6.15 pm at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. In her memory, the national flag will fly at half-mast throughout the country for two days. Reports indicate that PM Modi will soon leave for Maharashtra. Security arrangements may need to be worked out before the PM attends the funeral, but he may first visit Mangeshkar's home and meet her family. She always wanted to see a strong and developed India," he added.
