Earlier in the evening, around 7 PM, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will reach the airport, followed by BJP National President Nitin Nabin after 10 PM.
The city is already seeing a steady influx of VVIPs at Terminal 2, including Chief Ministers from 21 states.
Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh and Deputy Chief Minister Nemcha Kipgen have already reached Guwahati.
In addition to political leaders, prominent industrialists such as Jeet Adani, Director at Adani Airport Holdings Ltd (AAHL) and Sajjan Jindal, Managing Director of JSW Steel are also confirmed to attend the event.
