PM Modi arrived in the Rajya Sabha on Wednesday wearing a sleeveless light blue blazer with his green message written all over it. The jacket was made from recycled bottles.
The blue jacket had been made from recycled PET bottles. During India Energy Week on Monday in Bengaluru, the Indian Oil Corporation gifted the eco-friendly jacket to PM Narendra Modi.
Over 10 crore PET bottles will be recycled in order to make eco-friendly clothes for India Oil employees and the armed forces.
The goal of Energy Week was to highlight India's emerging strength as a leader in the energy transition.
