Digital Desk: In a major crackdown, police carried out raids at two massage parlours in Sibasagar over suspected involvement in illegal activities.


The  raid was conducted at “M1” located on BG Road and “O2” situated in KP Chariali. Acting on suspicion of an illegal prostitution racket, a large police team led by ASP Moyidul Islam launched coordinated operations at both locations simultaneously.


During the raids, a total of seven people , including four women and three men were detained. Among those held are an ONGC official from outside the state and a woman from Arunachal Pradesh.


All detained people have been taken to Sibasagar Sadar Police Station, where senior police officials are continuing interrogation.
