Even as the clamor between the Congress and the state BJP brigade refuses to die down regarding the closure of the two paper mills in Assam, Jagiroad MLA Pijush Hazarika has now held Congress leader Pradyut Bordoloi responsible for the destruction of the two defunct paper mills.
“If I have to say then Pradyut Bordoloi is the reason why these two paper mills have become non-functional today,” said Pijush Hazarika speaking with the presspersons.
“Pradyut Bordoloi was the Industry Minister. It was during his time that coal was procured at double the price. Bamboo was not bought from the locals of Jagiroad” Pijush said.
“The Congress and Pradyut Bordoloi is behind the destruction of both paper mills” he added.
MP Pradyut Bordoloi, also the Chairman of the Committee constituted by Assam Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Bhupen Kumar Borah to take stock of the recent developments regarding the two defunct paper mills, had slammed the Bharatiya Janata Party Government over the decision to auction both the paper mills. Bordoloi had also branded the decision as ‘hollow’.
