New Delhi: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has isolated along with her family after a family member and one of her staff members tested positive for Covid-19 on Sunday. The leader has tested negative for the contagion.

Priyanka Gandhi Vandra confirmed the new via tweet saying, “A member of my family and one of my staff have tested positive for Covid-19 yesterday. I have tested negative today however the doctor has advised that I remain in isolation and test again after few days.”

The Congress leader has been visiting her constituencies ahead of the Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh keeping herself with various political campaigns.

The Uttar Pradesh assembly polls will take place in February 2022.

Meanwhile Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will be addressing two public meetings at Srinagar and Almora in Uttarakhand ahead of the upcoming Assembly polls.

The Congress leader has been extensively travelling, participating in political rallies and campaigns. She has a tight schedule ahead of the upcoming polls in which she will be holding meetings across the state.

Priyanka has been entrusted with the responsibility to revive the grand old party in the political heartland. The Congress leader has been campaigning relentlessly in Uttar Pradesh, time in-and-out attacking the ruling BJP to garner attention, yet poll predictions have not shown a hopeful prospect for Congress.

Poll analysts have predicted a small share for the Congress party as Yogi Adityanath led BJP government is having an upper hand due to their multifarious developmental projects.
