Desk: Rishiraj Sarma, the son of
famed vocalist Sudakshina Sarma, died on Sunday while receiving treatment at
the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).
Sarma just underwent a kidney transplant in
Kolkata, but his condition deteriorated, resulting in his tragic death.
Aside from his excellent musical career, Sarma
was also a lawyer who practiced law.
He was
well-liked in both the music and legal communities, and his death has left a
vacuum in both. Many people will remember Sarma's contributions to the worlds
of music and law.
