As per Election Commission data at 3:15 pm, Mr. Gandhi leads his closest competitor, Dinesh Pratap Singh of the BJP, by over 3 lakh votes. In contrast, Prime Minister Narendra Modi maintains a lead of over 1.4 lakh votes against his closest rival, Ajay Rai of the Congress, in Varanasi.
