Central Minister of State for Petroleum and Natural Gas, Rameshwar Teli, unveiled the newly constructed branch of the prestigious Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology in Sivasagar. The branch includes accommodation facilities for both boys and girls.


Teli informed the media about his struggle to get the work done within a short time. He also informed about the government's plan to establish a bio-gas plant on the campus.


The new facilities, a significant addition to the complex, will serve as a hub for academic activities, student housing, and faculty accommodations. 


The event witnessed the participation of key figures, including N. R. L.'s Director Vaskar Jyoti Phukan and Arun Kumar Singh, the Chairman of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation. The dignitaries emphasized the importance of fostering education and research in the fields of petroleum and natural gas.


Rameshwar Teli expressed his commitment to advancing educational initiatives that contribute to the country's energy sector. 


The inaugural ceremony highlighted the Institute's leadership, with N. R. L.'s CEO Bhaskar Jyoti Phukan and Arun Kumar Singh, the head of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, gracing the occasion.
