Ranveer-Deepika’s ‘83’ Receives Standing Ovation at Red Sea Film Festival

Digital Desk: Ahead of the upcoming sports drama ‘83’ starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, the film receives huge applause and a standing ovation from the audience at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

A video of the event shared on Twitter featuring Ranveer Singh has gone viral on the internet since then.

After the film ended, the viewers applauded the film with a standing ovation in the video. Ranveer, who seems to be pumped after receiving the reactions from the audience, also claps and bows down to reciprocate the humble gestures.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone attended the Red Sea Film Festival with Kapil Dev and his wife, Romi.

83 is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala is based on the 1983 World Cup victory of the Indian cricket team.

Ranveer Singh played the role of Kapil Dev in the film, who was the captain of the Indian cricket team when it won the 1983 World Cup, with Deepika Padukone playing the role of his wife, Romi. 83 also stars Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Chirag Patil, Hardy Sandhu, Ammi Virk and Pankaj Tripathi.
