Taking to X, Riyan posted in 2023, "My inner conscience says I'm hitting 4 sixes in an over at some point this IPL."
The batsman hit five sixes in the 13th over of KKR bowler Moeen Ali.
In the 13th over, Shimron Hetmyer took a single off the first ball, bringing Riyan on strike.
Riyan smashed the English bowler in the next five deliveries for 5 sixes. Moeen gave away 32 runs in the over.
In the very next over of Varun Chakaravarthy, Riyan launched a maximum in the first ball, creating IPL history of becoming the only batter to hit 6 consecutive sixes.
