Guwahati: Sahitya Akademi awardee and Assamese writer Jnan Pujari is critical and undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) while his wife is in the cabin.
He and his wife tested positive for Covid-19 and were admitted to GMCH, Guwahati last night.
Jnan Pujari was felicitated Golden Lotus Award in the section National Film Award for Best Book Of Cinema in 49th National Film Awards.
He was awarded the Sahitya Akademi award for his poetry collection named Meghmalar Bhraman.
The doctors are keeping a tab on the health condition of the Sahitya Akademi awardee Assamese writer.
