Narottam Mishra, a minister in the state of Madhya Pradesh, threatened to prevent the release of Pathaan if the costumes and sequences in the movie were not changed.
Digital Desk: Pathaan, one of the most anticipated movies of 2023, recently released its first song, Besharam Rang. Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's hot chemistry won over fans but also got the movie into controversy with Madhya Pradesh minister Dr. Narottam Mishra. The use of saffron-colored costumes in the movie enraged the minister. Additionally, he claimed that the movie included some inappropriate scenes and threatened to have Pathaan banned from Madhya Pradesh if such scenes weren't changed.
PATHAAN'S SONG IN PROBLEM WITH MP MINISTER
Narottam Mishra, a minister in the state of Madhya Pradesh, threatened to prevent the release of Pathaan if the costumes and sequences in the movie were not changed.
He claimed that after the clothes and situations were changed or eliminated, Pathaan's release in MP would only be worthwhile. In a tweet about this, Minister Narottam Mishra referred to Deepika Padukone as a tukde-tukde gang supporter. He added that "the clothes are inappropriate and the song has been shot with a nasty attitude (sic)" in his tweet in Hindi.
He said that the costumes and scenes should be corrected or deleted, then only would it be worth considering Pathaan for release in MP. Minister Narottam Mishra also shared a tweet regarding this where he called Deepika Padukone a supporter of the tukde-tukde gang. In his tweet in Hindi, he also wrote that "the costumes are highly objectionable and the song has been shot with a dirty mindset (sic)."
SONG BESHARAM RANG
Besharam Rang, the first track from Pathaan, was highly anticipated even before it was released. Fans adored everything, whether it was SRK sporting the man bun and displaying a lean body or Deepika Padukone's ultra-glamorous swimwear photos.
On December 12, the song was finally released. Some serene Spanish places have been masterfully represented in the song. Additionally, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan are once again dancing together. Their relationship is enthralling. Shah Rukh Khan works his magic with just his glances, while Deepika Padukone simply turns up the heat with her flawless dances and her hitherto unseen gorgeous look.
