Digital Desk:  On Saturday, the Chief Minister's Special Vigilance Cell (CM's SVC) detained two more RTI activists in connection with the Rs 105 crore-State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) fraud in Assam.


Reportedly, the two accused are recognized as RTI activists Benin Doley and Rajib Kakati have been arrested.


During the investigation, it was discovered that Benin Doley had got Rs 5 lakh and Rajib Kakati had received Rs 7 lakh from the SCERT account via RTGS.


So far, the CM's SVC has apprehended 21 people in connection with the investigation. The court has already transferred 11 people to judicial custody, while ten more are still being probed by the CM's SVC.


According to authorities, all ten suspected offenders will appear in court today.


It has also come to light that despite the summons, Dibakar Sonowal and one senior journalist with the surname Talukdar did not appear before the CM's SVC.
