Guwahati: The Assam cabinet meet on Thursday decided to reopen schools across Assam for classes X beginning September 20, announced state education minister Ranoj Pegu.
The education minister said that every class will have maximum 30 students. Also the classes should be sanitized before it starts. Other classes will begin phase wide, said Pegu.
Syllabus of Class X will be reduced by 40 percent.
