Srinagar: An Indian Security Personal was martyred during an encounter that ensued between the militants and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir' Pulwama district.
A police official said that the following information from special inputs the security forces launched a cordon and search operation at Hanjin village in the Rajpora area of the district.
The official added that the searched operation turned into an encounter after militants opened fire on the security forces.
Further, the official said that in the initial exchange of firing with the militants one soldier was injured and added that the jawan succumbed to injuries at a hospital in Kashmir.
