New Delhi: With few days left ahead of the Independence Day celebrations in Delhi on August 15, Delhi Police has started placing huge containers. The huge containers have been placed outside the main gate of the Red Fort to block the path as well as the view.

To avoid any inescapable circumstances, the police have beefed up security around the Red Fort, which is already out of bounds for the general public till August 15, in anticipation of threats.

Delhi Police is leaving no stone unturned to secure the historic Red Fort, which witnessed violence on January 26, during farmers’ protest.

The farmers' protest against the three farm bills is still on and the Delhi Police is not leaving any stone unturned to secure the monument, from where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver the customary annual speech on August 15 morning.
