Digital Desk: Several people were injured after a burnt-out Ravan effigy fell on spectators at a Dussehra event in Haryana's Yamunanagar on Wednesday.

According to reports no casualties have been reported so far.

Parts of the Ravan effigy were still on fire when the incident occurred, as seen in the video of it crashing on spectators. The injured were sent to a neighboring hospital, where it is said that they are in stable condition.



In honour of Lord Ram's victory over Ravan, Dussehra celebrates the victory of good over evil. Throughout the nation, effigies of Ravan are burned as part of the festivities.
