Pathaan, a  globetrotting spy thriller, centres on the titular spy (Shah Rukh), who emerges from exile to prevent terrorist organisation Outfit X from carrying out a crippling strike on India.

Digital Desk: The movie Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, is unstoppable; on day 17, it earned more than Rs 900 crore. The movie reportedly made Rs. 557.76 crores in India.

Pathaan brought in Rs 343.24 crore globally and Rs 557.76 crore domestically, according to a report from Sacnilk.com. Shah Rukh Khan, meanwhile, is delighted with Pathaan's box office success and praises director Siddharth Anand for crafting an entertaining, attractive, and technically advanced action movie.

The January 25 release from Yash Raj Films (YRF) is getting closer to the Rs 900 crore threshold at the worldwide box office. Shah Rukh gave producer Aditya Chopra and director Anand credit for the movie's record-breaking box office achievement.

"In my opinion, Siddharth is the expert in this film genre. He is highly familiar with this genre of film. Simply put, I adore the world that Siddharth creates "In a behind-the-scenes video that YRF released," the star stated.

I have a special affection for this action movie. I believe that many wonderful people put a lot of goodness into making it... What's required today, in my opinion, is cinematic. You should view this movie on a huge screen "he said.

John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana are also featured in the film.

There is still a line outside the theatres for Shah Rukh fans to see the action show. He declared, "I think Pathaan is enjoyable, it's happy, it's wonderful looking, it's technically fairly advanced, lovely locales, lovely melodies, beautiful people, and I think the action is quite nice!"

Pathaan, starring Shah Rukh for the first time in almost four years as the lead, is the fourth film in YRF's ambitious spy universe, following Salman Khan's Ek Tha Tiger (2012) and Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) and War starring Hrithik Roshan.
