Digital Desk: As the release date of Pathaan approaches, advance bookings for the highly anticipated movie have begun in full force. The movie is already smashing records for its breakneck pace of bookings. Fans of Shah Rukh Khan are making special plans to mark the event with large-scale screenings. A new video has surfaced showing the actor's fans booking an entire theatre for the film's first day first show in Nagpur.

Pathaan, which marks Shah Rukh’s comeback to the big screen after over four years, is releasing in theatres on Wednesday, January 25. Pre-sales began on January 18 in selected theatres, and advance bookings began today (January 20). On Thursday, Shah Rukh's fan group, Club SRK Nagpur, shared a video in which they booked a full auditorium at a theatre for the 8 a.m. show of the film on the release day.

The video shows them telling the shocked theatre employees that they wanted to book the full audi, followed by the staff handing them all the tickets in a large envelope. The date and time of the show were written on the envelope. "Booked within seconds: We, The Club SRK, booked an entire auditorium for our Pathaan First Day First Show," the caption of the tweet shared by the fan club read.

Another fan club of the actor, SRK Universe, is sponsoring Pathaan's first-day first show screenings in multiple cities. Their goal is to have 50,000 Shah Rukh fans watch the film together across India on the morning of the 25th.

Pathaan has already sold tickets worth Rs 10 crore on the first day, one of the biggest figures for any Hindi film since the pandemic. When it is released, it is expected to break numerous records for advance booking and first-day sales. Siddharth Anand's movie also features John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
