In one such incident, the ‘Jab We Met’ actor was stalked and harassed by one of his fan, who is also the daughter of a legendary actor. In fact, her fascination with the actor forces him to file a police report against her.
Vastavikta Pandit, the daughter of Bollywood’s legendary star Raaj Kumar, was the girl who freaked out Shahid Kapoor with her passion for him.
The daughter of veteran actor Raaj Kumar was a Bollywood actress who struggled to achieve stardom. Reportedly, Vastavikta met Shahid Kapoor at Shiamak Davar’s dance sessions and fell in love with him. Her feelings for Shahid Kapoor developed to the point that she followed him wherever he went.
Shahid Kapoor couldn’t take the mental anguish caused by Vastavikta’s relentless stalking any longer in 2012, so he filed a case against Raaj Kumar’s daughter at Mumbai’s Versova police station.
Shahid said in the complaint that a girl named Vastavikta Pandit had been mentally torturing him and that anytime he left his residence, the girl would block his road, sit on the bonnet of his car, and tell him that she was his biggest admirer.
According to a close friend of the actor, Vastavikta even moved into a house next to the actor’s building and introduced herself as his wife. She also used to follow Shahid to his shoots.
After Shahid filed a non-cognizable offense case against Vastavikta Pandit, the failed Bollywood starlet managed to abscond from the country. Authorities have been attempting to locate her since then, according to reports.

On the work front, Shahid is preparing for the release of his upcoming film, Jersey. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur and is a remake of the same-named South Indian movie.
