Roing: A shopkeeper was shot dead in broad daylight by a customer after the former refused to give credit to the customer. The incident took place on Valentine’s Day at around 12:30 pm when the Shopkeeper named Sanjay Yadav was shot with a 12 bore SBBL gun at point blank.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Tenkur Ngupok (22 year old), who has been purchasing items from Yadav’s shop on credit and he was not paying for a very long time.

“On Sunday, Ngupok went to his shop and demanded more items on credit, while Yadav refused to give him any more credit, Ngupok brought the gun from his neighbours’ house without their knowledge and shot Yadav at his shop, Yadav died on the spot,” said Lower Dibang Valley Superindent of Police JK Lego.

A case under section 302 of Indian Penal Code (IPC) R/W section 27(3) Arms Act has been registered against the culprit.
