Digital Desk: In a bizarre incident reported from Uttar Pradesh, it rained silver coins at the demolition site of an old house. The incident was reported from the Badaun district.

Reportedly, after the people rushed to the site to hoard the silver coins, the demolition work had to be stopped.

The house was in bad condition for a long time, hence the locals' fear of any major fallout. The authorities had notified the owner earlier. The Municipal Corporation decided to demolish the house when the owner did not take action. No one imagined that the house would have silver coins hidden inside its walls.

The coins are currently in the possession of the administration.

Each coin is 10 grams, with a market price of around Rs 1000. As per reports, the coins are from the year 1890. More than 160 silver coins have been collected, and the demolition of the house is yet to be completed.
