Elisha Boro allegedly referred to a section of the audience as "animals" from the stage

Digital Desk: Controversy erupted at the bihu event at Bongaigaon district hosted by South Boitamari Bihu Sanmilan when singer Elisha Boro evidently addressed parts of the audience as "animals" from the stage.

The incident occurred during her bihu performance, leading to strong reactions from the members of the audience and officials from the Bihu organizing committee, who strongly protested against the artist's behavior.
Following her performance, Elisha Boro  was questioned on stage immediately after Elisha Boro completed her performance. The singer stated that audience members have been showing inappropriate behavior and vulgar signs , which made her frustrated, thus leading her to lose control.

Instead of offering an apology, she justified her reaction in front of the public. The officials responsible for the organizing committee made formal apologies to the audience before permanently banning Elisha Boro from performing at South Boitamari Bihu.

The situation intensified to the point where the singer had to be escorted from the venue under police protection.
