The SIT, which consists of members Raji Kalita, Munna Prasad Gupta, Maitrayee Deka, and Pranab Goswami, has conducted investigations in New Delhi and Punjab on five occasions.
During this process, Elizabeth underwent interrogation in New Delhi. The team is also examining the involvement of Pakistani citizen Ali Taufiq Shekhar, who reportedly invested several crores of rupees into an NGO associated with Elizabeth.
