Digital Desk: Chandmari police has detained 6 individuals on suspicion of being involved in a sensational robbery incident in Jyoti Nagar.
After previously detaining three individuals, Chandmari police has now detained another three on Wednesday, leading to the arrest of six individuals.
The arrested individuals were identified as Sadeq Ali, Lokman Ali, and Akbar Ali.
Police suspected that a gang of 6-7 individuals was involved in the robbery of a house in Latasil.
Meanwhile, three members of the detained gang were involved in multiple robbery incidents in Guwahati.
Earlier, on November 24, 2024, Latasil police had arrested the other three suspects.
The robbers entered the residence of a retired judge in Jyoti Nagar wearing masks. They reportedly entered the house through an unmonitored area.
This tactic of the gang has posed significant challenges for the Chandmari police while capturing the suspects.
