The women were on their way to perform Husori, a folk song, in the courtyards of the villagers during Bohag Bihu.

Digital Desk: In yet another unfortunate incident, six women, including two teenagers, were critically hurt in a car accident on Saturday night in Assam's Morigaon district Forest Gate.

The women were on their way to perform Husori, a folk song, in the courtyards of the villagers during Bohag Bihu.

Bikash Patru, a drunk biker, is said to have been responsible for the collision. Patru was riding his bike while drunk, which caused him to lose control of it and crash into the women's group. He has been admitted to the hospital after suffering severe injuries in the accident.

The injured women were taken immediately to the nearby Morigaon Civil Hospital for treatment. The hospital staff responded to the women immediately and gave them the appropriate medical care. The injured women are now receiving treatment and are stated to be in severe condition.

The tragedy has once again highlighted the risks associated with driving while intoxicated and the requirement for tougher laws and regulations to prevent similar accidents from occurring in the future.

It is to be noted that an investigation into the matter has been initiated by the local authorities.
