Lucknow: Richa Dubey, wife of slain Uttar Pradesh gangster Vikas Dubey has sought permission from UP CM Yogi Adityanath to commit euthanasia along with the family.
Richa has alleged harassment by various government agencies post her husband’s death after he was killed by the Uttar Pradesh Police while he tried to escape from custody.
'We request UP CM Yogi Adityanath to accept our plea and allow us permission to commit euthanasia. No one is listening to our problems. We are running short of money and are unable to deposit our children's school fees. I am running my house after selling my jewellery," a report in Times of India quoted Richa as saying.
She also said that she hasn't got the death certificate of her husband Vikas Dubey even after a year. Dubey was killed in an alleged encounter with UP police.
"The name of Vikas Dubey's father was wrongly mentioned on post-mortem slip. A similar error occurred on the funeral slip. And this is the reason municipal officials are not issuing the death certificate of my husband. And because of this, we are not able to claim the insurance money," the report further quoted Richa as saying.
