Digital Desk: On the opening day of the Budget session on Monday, Samajwadi Party (SP) founder and MP Mulayam Singh Yadav was spotted blessing Union Minister Smriti Irani after she touched his feet at the Parliament complex. Mulayam Singh Yadav may be seen entering the Parliament hall, cautiously stepping down the stairs in the video. Smriti Irani approached him and touched his feet when she saw him, which Yadav acknowledged by blessing her. Meanwhile, Parliament's Budget session began on Monday, with Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presenting the Economic Survey 2021-22. On Tuesday, she will present her fourth consecutive Union Budget, including financial statements and tax recommendations for the fiscal year 2022-23. The Economic Survey 2021-22 provided light on various aspects of the economy as well as future reforms that will be required to boost growth. The government's Economic Survey's macroeconomic stability indicators imply that the country's economy is well-positioned to meet the difficulties of the financial year 2022-23. President Ram Nath Kovind addressed both the Houses of Parliament in a joint session earlier in the day. In his speech, he emphasized the Modi government's accomplishments in sectors such as covid-19, food security, and women empowerment.  Also Read: RIL signs MoU for investment of crores in green projects in Gujarat
