Sonali Phogat's nephew, Vikas Singh, has stated that the family will ask the Goa High Court to order a CBI investigation.

Digital Desk: The latest development in the murder case of Sonali Phogat, a BJP leader and former Big Boss competitor, is that her family has requested a CBI investigation.

Sonali Phogat's nephew, Vikas Singh, has stated that the family will ask the Goa High Court to order a CBI investigation.

According to Sonali Phogat's brother, Rinku Dhaka, a Goa police team is set to visit Gurgaon today (Sunday) to look into the situation.

He further said that the Goa police have instructed the family to arrive in Gurugram by 2:00 PM at Phogat's apartment. Only the family members present would be there when the apartment is unlocked and examined.

Six of Sonali Phogat's relatives had already moved to Gurugram. Sonali Phogat's two brothers, brother-in-law, and nephew depart for Gurugram with two other family members.

The family is to arrive in Gurugram between 1:30 and 2:00 pm, according to the police. The opening of Sonali Phogat's Gurugram apartment will take place in the presence of relatives. Before travelling to Goa, Sonali Photgat and her assistant, Sudhir, slept at this apartment.

For four days, Sonali Phogat's family members have questioned the Goa Police's conduct in Hisar.

The family claims that the Goa police are doing little while conducting an inquiry. According to a member of Phogat's family, "Goa cops came on a 4-day vacation package."

Sonali Phogat, 42, was carried dead from her hotel on August 23 to St Anthony Hospital in Anjuna, North Goa district.

Last week, Sonali Phogat, a BJP official and former Big Boss competitor, passed away hours after having a good time at a Goa restaurant. Her two assistants were detained in connection with her alleged homicide. Even though the reason behind the crime is still unknown, Phogat's family claimed there was a broad plot involving a lease and a farmhouse.
