Digital Desk: Jawan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, has set yet another box office record with a worldwide total of nearly Rs 600 crore. The film's song 'Chaleya' has been the most streamed track on music streaming service Spotify India.
On September 11, 'Chaleya' was streamed over two million times on the music portal, making it the country's number-one single.
In terms of the daily global chart, Doja Cat's 'Paint the Town Red' has 7.4 million streams, with 'Chaleya' ranking 27th.
Meanwhile, BTS singer Jungkook's 'Seven' reached number two on the global rankings. In terms of Indian music, however, it is artist King's 'Maan Meri Jaan' with over 300 million clicks that has the most streaming.
'Chaleya' was written by Tamil artist Anirudh Ravichander and performed by Shilpa Rao and Arijit Singh. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Lady Superstar Nayanthara appear in the song video.
In terms of film, the Atlee-directed film received both critical and financial praise.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Rajkumar Hirani's Dunki, which also stars Taapsee Pannu in a prominent role. It is scheduled to be released in December.
