Tezpur: The Sonitpur district administration is all set to conduct a slogan competition in Tezpur, Assam. This initiative has been taken to promote tourism in Tezpur.
The competition is open for all individuals and students above class XVII. The intrested applicants can submit their entries in either English or Assamese language to issdctezpur@gmail.com.
The entries are to be submitted before September 25, 2021. Participants should mention their name, age and mobile number accurately along with their entries.
On World Tourism Day, the district administration will announce the winners. The top ten entries will receive certificates from the administration. The top three winners will get a cash prize and certificate of Rs. 5000, Rs.3000 and Rs. 2000 respectively.
These slogans will help in raising awareness and concern for the natural beauty of the city. Tezpur offers visitors a glimpse of the scenic landscape, snow-clad Himalayan Ranges and several temples.
Every year World Tourism Day is celebrated on September 27 to spread awareness regarding the significance of tourism and its influence on our community. This year 'Tourism for Inclusive Growth' is the theme for World Tourism Day.
