Digital Desk: The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi today announced that as a symbol of India’s indebtedness towards India's iconic freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, a grand statue of him will be installed at the India Gate. The construction work of the statue is in full swing and till the statue which is completely made of granite, is completed, a hologram statue would decorate the India gate and amplify its beauty, said Modi. The hologram statue of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose will be unveiled on his(Netaji Bose) birth anniversary i.e on 23rd January. The Canopy earlier had a statue of Kind George 5th, which was removed in 1968, they added. According to the officials, the claimed dimensions of Netaji's magnificent statue would be 28 feet * 6 feet. The Prime Minister also urged people to travel across the country to explore various historical monuments across the country and boost the tourism sector.
