Digital Desk: The young girl who sustained serious injuries after reportedly leaping from the second floor of an administrative building within the grounds of Cotton University in Guwahati breathed her last on Wednesday at around 4 pm.
The student was a first-year high school student in the Arts stream.
According to sources, the young girl suffered major injuries after she reportedly jumped off the MCB administration building on the campus on Tuesday.
She was undergoing treatment at the city's Nemcare hospital but today she succumbed to her injuries.
It may be mentioned that it is suspected that it was a case of attempted suicide as a note was recovered from her room that reads - "It was all my fault".
However, the reason behind her taking the extreme step is yet to be ascertained.
