Swara Bhasker got married to political activist Fahad Ahmad and registered their marriage in court... 

Digital Desk: B-town's most talked-celeb Swara Bhasker surprised everyone when she announced her wedding to political activist Fahad Ahmad on Twitter on February 16.

The actress posted a video with a montage of all their precious moments, as well as a description of their love story. Swara and Fahad registered their marriage in court under the Special Marriage Act on January 6, 2023.



Swara almost kept her relationship with Fahad a secret for nearly a month.

Swara has now posted more images from her wedding, including details on the attire she wore on her wedding day. 

Swara Bhasker, known for speaking her mind and expressing her feelings, announced her engagement to Fahad Ahmad on February 16.

Today, the actress took to Twitter to share more photos from the intimate wedding.

The photographs show her posing with her husband while they hug. She is also seen posing with her complete family in another snap. In the final picture, we see her dancing on the streets. Swara looks lovely in a crimson saree and little jewellery, which includes a choker and mangtika.

She captioned her photo saying, "Very grateful to be supported and cheered on by the love of family and friends like family! I wore my mother's sari and her jewellery, and I made @FahadZirarAhmad wear colour:) We registered under the #SpecialMarriageAct. Now it's time to get ready for shehnaii-wala shaadi (sic)." 


Fahad is the Maharashtra Unit President of the Samajwadi Party's youth wing. Swara took to Twitter to share a video about their lovely love story where she showed a glimpse of her court marriage at the registrar's office with her parents who also witnessed the marriage.
