Bengaluru: The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu has made an important announcement regarding the impending final exams of classes 9,10 and 11.

According to the announcement, the final exams for classes 9,10 and 11 will be cancelled in the state. The CM confirmed that the students of the above-mentioned classes will be passed to the next class without any examination being conducted in the 2020-21 academic year.

The decision to cancel the exams was taken after the minister received many requests from the parents, teachers and educators for the same.

The decision to cancel exams was taken by the government keeping in consideration the unusual situation faced by the students this year due to Covid-19.
