"We also recognize that the threat of terrorism cannot and should not be associated with any religion, nationality, or group," he said.

Digital Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah today stated that terrorism financing is more dangerous than terrorism itself, which cannot and should not be linked to any religion or group.

He also stated that terrorists are always looking for new ways to carry out violence, radicalize youth, and raise financial resources and that terrorists use the dark net to spread radical content and conceal their identities.

"Terrorism is without a doubt the greatest threat to global peace and security. However, I believe that terrorism financing is more dangerous than terrorism itself because it fosters the "means and methods" of terrorism."

"Furthermore, terrorism financing weakens the economies of countries all over the world," Amit Shah said at the third 'No Money for Terror Ministerial Conference on Counter-Terrorism Financing,' hosted by the Ministry of Home Affairs in Delhi.

"We also recognize that the threat of terrorism cannot and should not be associated with any religion, nationality, or group," he said.

"We have made significant progress in fortifying the security architecture, as well as the legal and financial systems, to combat terrorism," the Union Home Minister said.

Amit Shah, in a veiled attack on Pakistan, stated that there are countries that "seek to undermine or even obstruct our collective resolve to combat terrorism. "We have seen that some countries protect and shelter terrorists, protecting a terrorist is equivalent to promoting terrorism. It will be our collective responsibility that such elements never succeed in their intentions," he said.
