Internet can be weird sometimes. Be it the funny memes, to weird videos. Sometimes, one can confuse viewers with just one pic and a weird caption, that becomes difficult to comprehend at that moment. One such pic that is now going viral on social media is that of a car being surrounded by a troupe of monkeys.
The caption of the viral pic too confused readers which read as - The great monkey conquest, but who will drive? This caption in fact has reference to the Afghan crisis as the Taliban begins their rule with some strict diktats in place for the people.
The shockingly rapid advance across the country by the Taliban, has left everyone in the region fearing for their lives, as the militant group begin their rule. Although the Taliban forces have pledged not to allow Afghanistan to become a base for terrorists who could threaten the West, their own actions are in itself a big question for the safety of the common junta.
Questions are already being asked about how the group will govern the country, and what their rule means for women, human rights, and political freedoms.
The new Taliban rulers face tough economic and security challenges as they step back into power in a country that is vastly different from the one they left 20 years ago. Now the question is, who will rule the country? With such poor economic knowledge and no diplomatic understanding, will the Taliban be able to successfully bring back Afghanistan to its former cultural, economic and social glory?
