Digital Desk: A major theft is reported in Jorhat, with burglars allegedly targeting multiple locations without fear of the police.
According to sources, several shops and places of worship are targeted, creating concern among local residents. In one such incident, a showroom located in the JPR area is broken into by unidentified miscreants.
The accused reportedly break open the grill to gain entry and steal iPhones, cash, and several other valuable items. The entire act is captured on CCTV cameras, and the footage is now being examined as part of the investigation.
Police have launched a probe into the incident and are working to identify and apprehend the culprits.
